Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em has stepped forward to speak out on Young Money's Drake recently linking up with him for their mega smash hit, "We Made It" remix.

Along with decoding the new track, SB briefly spoke on landing in jail a few days ago.

"This is just a song we've been working on," SB told DJ Whoo Kid when asked how the new "We Made It" remix came together. "That was really like an intro record. It was like an intro record and Drake came like, 'This is crazy,' and we just put it out and the streets have just been loving it. It's crazy. ... I've been in the studio going crazy. I've just been focusing on the music, bruh. ... It's just being young and successful. If I was a regular person, [my arrest] wouldn't be as promoted and as it was and stuff like that." ("Whoolywood Shuffle")

The Toronto native unleashed the revamped version of SB's hit in late December.

From the release of his third album to his five Grammy nominations, Drake caps off another successful year with his remix to Soulja Boy's "We Made It" off the latter's mixtape The King. The Toronto MC reflects on his rise from the bottom to the top before Soulja stunts on his haters. "New Years Eve Anthems on deck," tweeted Drizzy, who will host "SNL" on January 18. Next up, he plans to release the Hit-Boy-produced "Trophies," which he previewed at Brooklyn's Barclays Center in October. (Rap-Up)

Heading into the weekend, Soulja Boy thanked fans for their support following his publicized Los Angeles arrest.

"Thanks for everyone who sent love and checked on me I appreciate we all good I'm gonna drop some music tonight! Sh*t crazy!!!," SB tweeted January 24.

According to reports, the arrest went down Wednesday (January 22) morning.

Soulja Boy was arrested in L.A. early this morning ... after cops say he was packin' a LOADED GUN, TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us ... the 23-year-old rapper was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over in the San Fernando Valley for running a stop sign early Wednesday morning. During the stop, cops say they noticed that Soulja was in possession of a loaded gun -- and arrested him on the stop. Soulja was hauled to a nearby jail -- he's currently being booked. Soulja has a history of run-ins with the law -- he was busted for weed and weapons back in 2011. (TMZ)
