News: Eminem's Millions & Kanye West's Pesky Perks Demands Drive NFL Owners Nuts

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem reportedly had a chance to cash-in on some millions but could not reach an agreement with NFL owners for a Super Bowl weekend party.
According to reports, the main issue between both parties came down to finances.
Eminem got an offer he COULD refuse -- an offer to sing at the NFL Owners Party during Super Bowl week that did not meet his price -- $2 MILLION! Sources connected to the party tell TMZ ... reps from the event were looking for a headline act for the party that followed the dinner, which will be attended by 1,500 lucky folks. When Eminem's agents laid out the financial terms, we're told the owners group passed. (TMZ)
Rap star Kanye West also sparked consideration but too many personal requests forced the party planners to look elsewhere.
We're also told the owners were interested in Kanye ... but his fee was too high as well. As one source put it, "It was $1 million, plus plus plus a lot of other perks." In the end, we're told the group settled on Janelle Monae, who's going for a very reasonable $150K. There will be a slew of singers performing at various events in NYC during Super Bowl week. We're told DJs are the big thing ... and the big ones are going for between $750K and $1 million. (TMZ)
Eminem recently promised to pledge up to $100,000 to help the less fortunate.
Eminem and The Marshall Mathers Foundation have pledged to match up to $100,000 in donations given to Wolverine Human Services today. The non-profit organization, which has several locations in Michigan, offers aid to children ages 12-18 in need. The charitable act from Eminem comes on "#GivingTuesday," a day recognized nationally that encourages individuals to support non-profit organizations that are positively helping their communities. As of press time Wolverine Human Services has raised over $47,000. The time to donate ends at 11:59 p.m. tonight. Click here to learn more about the non-profit organization and donate to their cause. Wolverine Human Services offer their gratitude below. (Complex)
Slim Shady also recently delved into his undying love for the city of Detroit.
"Absolutely not, nah," Em said when asked if he ever thought about leaving Detroit. "[I stay] because, you know, for one, the most obvious answer is because it's all I know. It's all I know. I love it, there, you know, despite the little complaints on the record and sh*t like that, the whole concept of the record was just basically -- I'm complaining about sh*t people might think is ridiculous and as I'm complaining about it, I'm realizing this sh*t is ridiculous that I'm complaining about."
