Young Money's Drake recently talked about the success of his Nothing Was The Same solo album and what fans could expect from its follow-up.

Although in its early stages at best, Drake said his fourth solo album could show him swaying away from family-related topics.

"Everytime it just comes out as sh*t that's going on in my life. I think the next album I do is gonna be different. I don't know if I'll necessarily return to family stuff and stuff that I feel I really summed up well on Nothing Was The Same. The problem is I don't participate too much in social media, so my music is always the update that you're looking for in my life. Twitter is not my outlet to get my message out there. My outlet is the music so my music always ends up becoming my life. I don't know how to stop that." (VIBE)

The rapper has kept busy as of late, most recently dropping his unreleased Nothing Was The Same track "Trophies" over the weekend.

I had quite possibly the best day I've had in a while, and while I was randomly perusing clearing my inbox this lands in it. Shortly after releasing his take on Soulja Boy's (surprisingly dope) "We Made It," the (obviously rough and unfinished version but) highly-anticipated and much-talked-about collaboration between Hit-Boy and Drizzy has finally arrived just in time for your New Year's celebration. The Toronto native also unleashed his unexpected "We Made It" remix heading into the weekend.

From the release of his third album to his five Grammy nominations, Drake caps off another successful year with his remix to Soulja Boy's "We Made It" off the latter's mixtape The King. The Toronto MC reflects on his rise from the bottom to the top before Soulja stunts on his haters. "New Years Eve Anthems on deck," tweeted Drizzy, who will host "SNL" on January 18. Next up, he plans to release the Hit-Boy-produced "Trophies," which he previewed at Brooklyn's Barclays Center in October. (Rap-Up)
