With the Internet still buzzing over Kanye West choosing Ellen DeGeneres' talk show broadcast next week to premiere his next Yeezus music video, new reports suggest the visual will be the infectious "Bound 2" anthem.
Along with the latest update, reports claim Ye's fiancée could appear in the highly-anticipated clip.
Kanye West will premiere the new music video for his "Yeezus" cut "Bound 2" through an interesting source: Ellen DeGeneres' daytime talk show. According to the TV show's website, West will debut the "Bound 2" video on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" next Tuesday (Nov. 19). Ellen's website also reveals that the video "may or may not" feature West's fiancée, Kim Kardashian. The episode will also feature actress Elizabeth Banks, with musical support from Travie McCoy and Jason Mraz performing their collaboration "Rough Water." "Bound 2," featuring Charlie Wilson, is the newest single from West's chart-topping "Yeezus," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in May. The album has been certified Gold by the RIAA, despite the lack of a hit single thus far. (Billboard)
Ellen broke the news of Ye's new visual being featured on her show next week heading into the weekend.
"Guess who just told me he's premiering his new music video on my show next week? The one and only @KanyeWest! Thank you, Yeezus.," Ellen tweeted November 15. (Ellen DeGeneres' Twitter)
Despite the anticipation, there was initially no specific information on which visual Kanye would premiere.
Kanye West will be releasing his latest music video off Yeezus on Monday. This announcement came courtesy of Ellen DeGeneres, who said that the video will be premiering on The Ellen Show. As of now, there is no information about the video available. Kanye's Yeezus tour is set to resume November 16 in Philadelphia. Next week, he will be performing four shows in New York City, two at the Barclays Center and two at Madison Square Garden. (Complex)
Outside of his album promo, Mr. West has kept busy most recently appearing at Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio's birthday celebration in New York.
Leonardo DiCaprio celebrated his 39th birthday in New York with a little help from rappers Kanye West and 2 Chainz. Because that's precisely what Jay Gatsby would do if he was a real person. "The Great Gatsby" star feted himself at Tao Downtown in New York with about 100 guests and special performances from the rappers, raising millions of dollars for his foundation. (Los Angeles Times)
