Diehard fans hoping to see Drake pack his bags and leave Young Money will have to keep dreaming as Drizzy made sure to show the world he still goes hard for YMCMB this week in Miami.
During his "Would You Like A Tour?" stop in South Beach, the Toronto native treated concertgoers to a special performance from Young Money head Lil Wayne.
A couple nights ago, Drake's 'Would You Like A Tour?' stopped in South Beach for an adventurous night. During Aubrey's set, the rapper treated his fans to a surprise guest appearance from his boss Lil Wayne. The 2 of them performed their popular hit 'Hell Yeah F***ing Right', followed by Weezy's solo performance of his track 'Rich As F**k'. Maybe a joint album from these 2 is finally on the way? (HHNM)
During his OVO Fest concert in August, Drizzy vouched his loyalty to Weezy F. Baby and promised he would be there for the long haul.
"If there was paperwork that said 'For life on it' I'ma let you know I'm gonna be riding with this man right here until the end of time, I promise you. I'm not going anywhere. Young Money is forever. Lil Wayne is forever. Drizzy Drake is forever and that's that on motherf*cking that," Drake said during the concert. "This man here is the reason you can feel proud as a city. This man right here is the reason for Drake. Make some noise for the best rapper alive." (OVO Fest)
He also appeared at one of Wayne's concerts a week prior, seemingly crushing all beef rumors.
Drake is still down with Young Money. October's Very Own shut down the rumors of a rift with YMCMB when he appeared as a surprise guest during Lil Wayne's "America's Most Wanted Music Festival" show at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York last night. He hit the stage with Weezy, Birdman, and Mack Maine to perform his remix to "Versace." Backstage, he repped for the team, wearing a Rich Gang hat and chilling with Young Money's new boy band W3 the Future. (Rap-Up)
Young Money's Nicki Minaj recently weighed-in with some thoughts on why people may think Drizzy is not fully behind Young Money.
"I just feel like people's perception of their reality is their perception of their reality," Nicki said in an interview. "Sometimes people make moves based on their perception of what reality is and I know that sounds like a riddle, but maybe one day you'll be able to unravel that one. ... All I can say is he's so talented. Sometimes when you're really intelligent and you're really talented, you also think a lot and sometimes your mind is racing with thoughts. It is what it is. People go through their own emotions and you gotta respect it and keep it moving. We all love the team." (Hot 97)
