With hip-hop stars like Wale and Rick Ross sporting Pink Dolphin clothing on any given day, SOHH has learned company head Neima Khalia is opening a second location of its popular store in San Franscisco.

Neima gave SOHH the inside scoop on why it was necessary to open up shop in his backyard.

"We are from the Bay so we really wanted to bring a store back home especially for our grass root fans who have been supporting us from day 1," Neima told SOHH. "San Francisco is such a cultured city and Haight Street is a really developing as a street wear and fashion destination so it made sense." (SOHH)

Celebrating the new move in fashion, a grand opening is set to take place at the store's new location this weekend.

This Saturday Pink Dolphin will celebrate the grand opening of it's second flagship store. The first, as you know, is on Fairfax in Los Angeles, California and now Pink Dolphin will return home to the Bay Area on Haight Street. The event takes place at 11 am with a Limited Edition Opening Collection release that you will not want to miss out on. Tons of special guests will appear at the opening so if you're in the bay don't miss out! (Young California)

Recently, Neima spoke to SOHH's lifestyle affiliate Get Frush about the value behind Pink Dolphin.

"Pink Dolphin is not for people who want to blend into a crowd. We design clothes that are meant to stand out and make a statement. There are influences from music, art, Japanese culture and high fashion in all our items. Our approach to color is gender bending. PD is for men and women that want to stand out and be noticed. Our customers are not afraid of color and they embrace new styles with confidence. We do have some items that are subtle as well. Our clothes should be worn in combination with other basics so that our items really stand out." (Get Frush)

He also mentioned the various hip-hop entertainers that have supported the growing line.

"We have a lot of continued supporters. We have been aligned with a number of well-known artists and musicians since the very beginning, including Rick Ross, Chris Brown to Future, T.I. and pretty much every rapper that's relevant. Reggie Bush, Justin Bieber, 2 Chainz, Mario Balloteli." (Get Frush)
