Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy isn't satisfied with the new launch of his music-based Revolt TV and is reportedly looking to be involved in a remake of 1990's cult classic flick King of New York.

While nothing is set in stone just yet, Puffy has rallied behind a remake for the past two years.

The Ciroc and Revolt TV mogul has joined forces with Imagine Entertainment's Grazer to remake the gritty drama, which starred Christopher Walken, Laurence Fishburne and Wesley Snipes, about a former drug lord who returns from prison to wipe out his competition and distribute the profits of his lucrative operation to help the poor by building a public hospital in a ghetto neighborhood. Grazer tells us, "Sean optioned the rights to remake 'King of New York' for two years. The film is a cult classic, and it will be great to remake it. Our version won't be exactly the same, but will have the same hard-core gangster feel. Sean wants to be in it, he was amazing in 'Monster's Ball,' and such strong characters sit perfectly with him." The duo hope to start production next year. (New York Post)

Known for inspiring the Notorious B.I.G.'s fictional drug kingpin moniker, Diddy protégé Jadakiss previously said his ideal role would be playing the part of Frank White.

"King of New York. Just replace Christopher Walken with me. Keep everything the same. It's just me. Picture me instead of Christopher Walken. That sh*t would be crazy. You got to redo the whole King of New York with me." (VIBE)

In 2010, Young Money's Nicki Minaj said her dream role would be in a Tim Burton film.

"I'd like to play someone in a Tim Burton movie, where I get dressed up and painted and crazy," Minaj reveals within her cover feature interview. "Then I want to be able to do some action stuff, like Angelina Jolie...And then I'd like to just play a regular girl who, you know, is facing the world. Something really sentimental and organic, that girls all around the world can identify with. You know, how Jada Pinkett Smith did in Jason's Lyric." (KING)

In summer 2010, Drake envisioned himself playing the role of United States' President Barack Obama.

"I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama's life soon because I could play him. That's the goal [laughs]. I watch all the addresses. Anytime I see him on TV, I don't change the channel, I definitely pay attention and listen to the inflections of his voice. If you ask anyone who knows me, I'm pretty good at impressions. Slowly but surely, I'm not in the study mode because nobody's called me about anything, but I just pay attention so when the day comes I'm not scrambling to learn how to speak like him. I want to be involved in great film projects. I don't want to do the basketball movie that everyone does. I don't want to do the typical black film that everyone expects. I think that I have enough experience to actually be involved in a real meaty project full of substance." (Paper Mag)
