Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy's new Revolt TV network has decided to use a minor publicity stunt to make a big announcement by tagging a new video "fight footage" of the rap mogul and Roc Nation's J. Cole.

Weeks after the hip-hop stars allegedly went at one another, Revolt TV has released a clip which is actually an announcement of Cole having his own show on Puff's new channel.

Following MTV's Video Music Awards in August, nasty rumors and headlines abounded that J. Cole and Diddy were involved in a brawl at an after party for the show. At the time, both men denied a physical altercation had occurred and said that the media had blown things out of proportion. Today, however, video surfaced of an alleged fight between the two rappers--sort of. RevoltTV posted a video of J. Cole and Diddy mocking their alleged brawl after meeting up at the third annual iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas last month. Regardless of the truth, both men seem to be cool with each other today. You can watch footage of the "brawl" in the video above. (XXL Mag)

G.O.O.D Music's Big Sean recently admitted he could not see Puff and Cole fighting.

"Yeah right," Sean said when told his "Control" record ultimately sparked tensions between J. Cole and Diddy. "I don't believe it. Rumors is rumors, you know. It is funny. I feel like people are taking it way too serious." ("The Breakfast Club")

According to reports back in August, tensions initially boiled over between Diddy and Kendrick Lamar which resulted in Cole getting involved.

Multiple sources familiar with the situation told Complex it went down like this: 1. Diddy was visibly intoxicated. 2. He tried to confront Kendrick over the "King of New York" claim in his "Control" freestyle. 3. Diddy allegedly attempted to pour a drink on Kendrick, and J. Cole intervened. 4. The two started arguing and Cole allegedly put his hands on Diddy, which then led to problems between their respective crews. 5. After a brief scuffle, both crews separated. We reached out to the Dream Downtown to confirm the party. Their reps said they hosted an event on Sunday night with a variety of celebrities but could not give out further information on the incident. However, photos via FakeShoreDrive from the event confirm that J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Diddy were all in the building. (Complex)

While brief with his words, Cole simply downplayed the rumored scuffle in late August.

"people will believe anything," Cole tweeted August 26. (J. Cole's Twitter)

More direct in his approach, Diddy specifically addressed the reports and did initially confirm there was some shouting.

"I usually don't address rumors but I got too much respect for my bro @JColeNC. We are friends. We just yell in public sometimes LOL #Fam," Diddy tweeted August 26.
