Young Money executive Mack Maine has chosen a rough way to prepare for the weekend by turning himself over to law enforcement in light of sexual battery charges recently being pressed against him.
According to reports, Maine gave himself up to police and was held on a $9,000 bond on Friday (September 20).
Young Money president Mack Maine found himself in serious legal trouble when he got hit with two felony charges of sexual battery. Today, he's facing the consequences. Maine turned himself in to Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office early on Friday (Sept. 20). The rapper was jailed with a $9,000 bond. The charges arrived when the Young Money leader invited Rachel Reed and Cailey Maddox into a tour bus and allegedly held it shut when the two tried to leave. Reports say Maine forcefully grabbed Reed's breast and punched Maddox in the face, breaking her jaw. Maddox reportedly needed her jaw wired shut for six weeks to heal. The alleged incident happened on Aug. 21 during the Oklahoma stop of Lil Wayne's Amerika's Most Wanted tour. (The Drop FM)
His time behind bars must not have been long because Maine posted a tweet to his Twitter page shortly before noon.
"Another day another flight ?," he tweeted September 20. (Mack Maine's Twitter)
According to reports, Maine has received two felony criminal charges stemming from a mid-August incident.
Mack Maine -- who's rapped with everyone from Lil Wayne to Rick Ross -- has been hit with two felony criminal charges in Oklahoma after cops say he sexually assaulted a female fan and then punched the woman's female friend in the face ... TMZ has learned. According to court docs obtained by TMZ, officials believe the 31-year-old rapper invited Rachel Reed and Cailey Maddox onto a tour bus on August 22, 2013 ... and while on the bus, "put his hand down Rachel's dress and grabbed her right breast" without her consent. Court documents reportedly suggest Maine held the victim against her will when she tried to leave.
The docs say, "Rachel got upset and when she and Cailey tried to leave the bus, [Mack Maine] held the door shut." "Once the door was opened, Cailey was walking down the steps but turned and looked back to call for Rachel and [Mack] punched her in the face, breaking her jaw and knocking her down." No word on when Mack is due in court. (TMZ)
Shortly after the initial story went viral a few weeks ago, Mack appeared to downplay it on his Twitter page.
"Don't believe the hype!!!!," Mack tweeted August 30. (Mack Maine's Twitter)
