Young Money's Drake is reportedly going to remind his diehard fans exactly where he comes from by making a significant NBA announcement Monday (September 30) in Toronto.

According to reports, Drizzy Drake will announce his hometown as the location for 2016's NBA All-Star Game.

We've seen the reports saying that Toronto will host the 2016 NBA All-Star Game. It's not official until Drake announces it though. The Toronto rapper [will] be at the press conference tomorrow to formally announce the city as the 2016 hosts. This is part of a rebranding effort the unpopular Toronto Raptors are undergoing. The franchise is taking a page out of the Brooklyn Nets/Jay Z book and is using Drake--a lifelong Raptors fan--to help the effort, according to the Toronto Star. Drake will also launch a clothing line associated with the team and oversee a redesign of the franchise's brand image for its 2014-15 20th anniversary. Drake's quest for ubiquity isn't ending anytime soon. (Complex)

Back in February, Drizzy took to Twitter and told his 10 million-plus followers "Started From The Bottom" was the Raptors and Toronto's motivational song.

"Raptors playing like they knew the song was dropping. OUR TIME!#SFTB #TORONTO," Drake tweeted February 1st. (Drake's Twitter)

Drizzy previously teamed up with fellow Toronto team, the Blue Jays, for a special collaboration to promote last month's OVO Fest concert.

While we await the arrival of Drake's new album Nothing Was the Same, which drops on September 17, the rapper has been ramping up hype in myriad ways. Leading up to his OVO Fest and North American tour, he's teamed up with the Toronto Blue Jays and New Era for a new hat collaboration. The hats, which are pictured above, are part of New Era's 5950 series and include the Blue Jays logo along with a stitched, commemorative OVO patch on the side. They'll be available in black or royal blue. (Exclaim)

Diehard fans reportedly had limited opportunities to get their hands on the caps.

Here's the catch, however: you'll only be able to pick up the hats if you attend OVO Fest at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre on August 4 and 5. Outside of that, they'll be available at one Blue Jays game to be announced. If you miss out on those opportunities, you'll have to snag one on eBay, and we're pretty sure they won't stay at the $75 retail price. (Exclaim)
