Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em is making headlines after reportedly not following directions and being removed from a recent American Airlines flight.

According to reports, SB's decision to not cooperate with a flight attendant's commands ultimately led to the incident.

Soulja Boy has a lot in common with Alec Baldwin -- not that he's as talented, but he's definitely as disrespectful on American Airlines, because the renegade rapper got booted from an AA plane after causing a pre-flight scene. Just like Alec, Soulja was on American Airlines Friday when the flight attendant took the mic and told everyone to sit the f**k down. Soulja, who was standing and walking the aisles, didn't follow the command. Just like Alec, a flight attendant approached the rapper and repeated the order and explained the consequences if he didn't obey. Just like Alec, the rapper blew her off. And just like Alec, he was "removed" from the plane. (TMZ)

Despite the bad press, Soulja Boy has since apologized for his actions.

Unlike Alec, Soulja was actually contrite, telling TMZ, "It was a bad night and me and the flight staff didn't see eye to eye. In hindsight, I'm extremely sorry for all inconvenience caused to the passengers and employees of the airline." Unlike Alec, Soulja probably will not get a Capital One commercial because ... well, you know -- he's Soulja Boy, right? (TMZ)

Earlier this summer, reports on SB owing a local store over $60,000 for jewelry and repairs surfaced.

A Buckhead jeweler is suing Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy for more than $60,000, claiming the singer has refused to pay an outstanding debt. Icebox Custom Jewelry filed the suit this week in Fulton County State Court. Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Way, and his company, Soulja Boy Tellem Music Inc., are named in the suit, which seeks repayment of the debt plus interest and other damages. Efforts were being made to reach Soulja Boy for comment. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)

The company claimed Soulja Boy's debt dates back to October 2011.

Icebox, which is on Peachtree Street a few blocks from Lenox Square mall, said Soulja Boy purchased several pieces of jewelry for $45,144 in October 2011 and later that same year bought more jewelry and requested several repairs at a total cost of $15,726. When contacted Wednesday, a store manager said the rapper had purchased jewelry from Icebox previously. On its website, the family-owned company said it has "large dealings in hip-hop jewelry." Icebox said it has made numerous attempts to get the rapper behind the 2007 hit single "Crank That" to pay off the debt. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
