[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name who they feel is the most underrated emcee in hip-hop. After Zaytoven gave DJ Quik the title last week, Brooklyn rapper Gliffics crowns AZ SOHH Underrated.]

There's a lot of people I grew up listening to so I'm going to have to think about this for a minute. I got one. AZ.

In my opinion, I feel like his album Doe or Die was a classic. Hands down. I feel like it was a classic. From the lyrics to the production to the features. He was such an important person in Nas' career. You already know what pedestal people put Nas on.

I don't know where his career went that he didn't continue to move up the ladder but he's just lyrical, he's got that New York music and he just came with that timeless music.

That Doe or Die was classic and then he dropped some other joints too. I just feel like he never got the credit he deserves. He just fell short with the recognition.

He definitely bodied that "Life's A B*tch" Nas record. They were perfect together. They were like Prodigy and Havoc. If they were a duo, it would be set in stone. They definitely complemented each other on tracks.

Brooklyn hip-hop artist/producer Gliffics is raising the bar on quality Independent artistry. His peers and industry tastemakers alike tip their hats to his lyrical integrity and polished production, his relentless grind and pursuit to brand himself in an impactful, innovative fashion. Gliffics is rapidly garnering the attention of hip-hop's heavyweights, who are proving more and more eager to see him rise to the top.
