Less than a day after turning herself in to begin a three-month prison sentence, rapper/singer Lauryn Hill's daily routines and food options have already surfaced online.

According to reports, Lauryn's first meal option included choices like barbeque pulled pork, vegetables and juices.

Lauryn Hill is living the PRISON HIGH LIFE ... at least compared to Aaron Hernandez -- and TMZ has the menu to prove it. Let's start with their first meals ... When Lauryn checked into Federal Correctional Institute in Connecticut on Monday to serve her 3-month sentence for tax evasion, she was served up with some tasty BBQ pulled pork with a side of carrots, peas and sweet potatoes. To wash it down: she was able to choose from an array of juices or milk. WHO'S HUNGRY? Compare that to Hernandez ... whose first meal at Bristol County Jail included scrambled eggs and grits, and chop suey with green beans and bread. Prison chop suey? No thanks. (TMZ)

She also will be kept around other inmates and have various work duties.

As for day-to-day life, Hill will do menial work like cleaning the grounds, educational department help, yard work, or working in the religious services department. At night, she's housed in barracks with other inmates so she can laugh and talk and have fun! Hernandez is being kept in a 3x5 cell for 21 hours a day, only allowed out for three hours a day, allegedly for his own safety. Oh ... and he's all alone in solitary confinement. Boooooring! So, what's the lesson here? If you're gonna break the law ... try not to (allegedly) murder a guy (or three) ... it's better that way. (TMZ)

After being sentenced over the spring, Lauryn officially started her prison bid this week.

Grammy-winning singer Lauryn Hill began serving a three-month prison sentence on Monday for failing to pay about $1 million in taxes over the past decade. Hill reported to federal prison in Danbury, said Ed Ross, a spokesman for the federal Bureau of Prisons. Inmates at the minimum security prison live in open dormitory-style living quarters and are expected to work jobs such as maintenance, food service or landscaping. (USA Today)

Recently, Brooklyn rapper Foxy Brown offered her thoughts on Hill having to do time behind bars.

"This is definite? My girl Lauryn is about to go to jail? What a lot of people don't know is me and Lauryn had a lot of late night talks. Yes, yes. My blood cousin is one of Lauryn's best friends," Foxy explained in an interview. "She's one of the ones besides Jay that said, 'I don't want you to change that dancehall hip-hop. Please don't ever change that. I need that, I need that, I need that.' I told her, 'I need you. We're the two dark skin [stars]. We're the ones that kicked the door down. I need 'you' to be okay.' Lauryn, whoa, that just kind of, wow. I'm definitely going to call her. Definitely." ("The Combat Jack Show")
