Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has new music from himself and he didn't even know it as a YouTube user has flipped his new paparazzo rant into a thumping new track.
Hours after footage of Yeezus going off on a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport emerged, a new "remix" anthem followed.
Kanye West obviously needs a brand new music video after his other one fizzled online this week -- so we decided to do the man a solid and make him a new one ... BY REMIXING THIS WEEK'S PAPARAZZI TANTRUM!!! You can read the story behind the video here, but that's not really today's lesson. Today's lesson is obvious ... D-D-D-DON'T TALK TO KANYE!!! AT ALL!!! Subscribe to our YouTube channel here. Just be quiet about it, so Kanye doesn't hear you. (TMZ)
The original intense footage bubbled across the Internet Friday (July 12) afternoon.
The rapper was caught on camera arriving at LAX to catch a flight out of L.A. and offered up an odd rant about his privacy as the TMZ.com cameraman shot footage and professed his love and admiration for the hitmaker. West raged, "I appreciate that but don't talk... don't talk to me... I don't want to hear paparazzi talk to me or anybody I know... and tell everybody never talk to anyone that anyone knows... Don't talk to themselves... Don't talk ever again." The pap refused to heed West's warning and when he asked about a possible sequel to the rapper's Watch the Throne album with Jay-Z, Kanye snapped and charged the guy, snatching for his video camera. Mr. West is most known for his now-infamous 2008 explosion at the same airport.
West, who was arrested for smashing a TMZ.com staffer's equipment at the same airport in 2008, has become paparazzi prey ever since he started dating Kim Kardashian, who gave birth to the couple's first child last month (Jun13). The pair has had several run-ins with members of the photographic media in recent weeks. (ABC 2 News)
Around mid-June, Mr. West detailed his issues with paparazzi.
"Right now it's a fight against the separation and constant dumbing down of culture, and I'm standing in the middle of it. So if you know what people say are my lowest moments, those moments where I sat and saw them try to dumb down culture, and I would not allow it to happen on my clock. [Applause] So when I used to go to fashion shows with my boys and we'd be eight deep, it was almost like a civil rights, like a sit-in. They wouldn't even let us in. They had no idea what rap would mean to this world, what rap would mean to the art world. Before the Kendrick Lamars and the A$AP Rockys, it was Kanye West in a hotel room at the Le Maurice getting a 'no, no, no, no' to every single fashion show. But I thought it was so important to get close to the artists who worked so hard on making a usable form of art--like this furniture right here, like everything that is in all these rooms that inspire us so much--and I fight in my position of being a very commercial celebrity boyfriend, I fight to push culture forward every chance I get. And I only frown because paparazzi ask me dumbass shit all the time, and I think about changing the world, and I think about what I can do to make things better. And, without further ado, I want to play you guys my new album. It's called Yeezus." (The Daily Beast)
