Underrated: "He Really Doesn't Care About Blowing Up, He Doesn't Want To Be A Jay-Z"

[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name who they feel is the most underrated emcee in hip-hop. After Drock gave Kool G Rap the title earlier this week, Texas rapper Carmine crowns Z-Ro SOHH Underrated.]
I would probably go with Z-Ro for SOHH Underrated. Around here, in Texas, he's really known but I think he's super underrated for nationally. I don't know how many know about him but I didn't know anything about him until I was 16 and I was already here for 6 years.
I would have to go with him. He's super underrated. All of his sh*t is incredible. He's super introspective on all of his raps. He's one of the best. I put him up there with all of the bests. I don't think he wants to be super well-known. I have heard stories like that about him.
I think their styles don't necessarily match up but I would compare him to a New York artist like AZ. AZ is super underrated. Style-wise, they're both talking a lot of sh*t on every record and they're both underrated.
He's a legend down here, but from a national standpoint, he just hasn't hit. He has a real "F*ck you" kind of attitude. I've never met him, so I don't know personally, but that's what I get from it. I think he really doesn't care about blowing up. He doesn't want to be a Jay-Z. That's what I take from it.
