Dipset's Cam'ron has stepped forward to clear the air after a song by him called "T.A.L.A.M" premiered online early Thursday (July 25).

Hours after its release, Killa Cam spoke out and denied dropping a new tune.

"I did NOT put out new music. That's some old sh*t somebody remixed. That's old as sh*t," Cam tweeted July 25. (Cam'ron's Twitter)

The record unexpectedly landed across music blogs early Thursday.

Everyone's favorite Harlem native MC, Cam'ron, is back today with something new and rather dark for our listening enjoyment. The track is called T.A.L.A.M., and interesting, highly addictive track driven by a haunting sounding combination of a sitar melody, intense strings, and some impressive drums that Cam places his bars upon. Cam hits the track running and in his patented style lets loose of some incredibly dope, street life bars, keeping things purely Harlem in the process. This sh*t is too d*mn dope, and with bars like "Thought about it, know who ya'll remind me of? Pat Ewing. Charles Bark. Karl Malone. John Stock. John Starks. Chris Webber (Jalen too). Reggie Miller homie, you ain't win a chip never", you don't want to sleep on it. (Stupid Dope)

In late May, Cam announced plans to release his delayed Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1 mixtape.

Cam'ron is preparing to release his new mixtape, Ghetto Heaven Vol. 1. On his Instagram account, he revealed the cover art for the project, which features Ronald McDonald holding a handgun. Cam's most recent output was Gunz N' Butta in 2011 with Vado. This latest mixtape will be his first solo project since Crime Pays in 2009. It is set for a July 4 release. (XXL Mag)

Earlier the same month, Cam released his "Golden Girls"-sampled "Golden Friends" record.

Killa season has returned. Cam'ron has built a reputation for sampling unique classics into new songs. This time around, the Dipset leader uses Cynthia Fee's "Thank You For Being a Friend," famously known as the 90s sitcom The Golden Girls theme song on his new record "Golden Friends." Hot 97?s Funkmaster Flex comes through with another world premiere. (Bandmine)
