Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross reportedly may feature the late Lil Snupe on his group's upcoming Self Made, Vol. 3 according to Meek Mill.

Meek revealed a conversation he had with Snupe prior to his passing this week and revealed Ross gave the teen rapper a shot at mainstream fame.

While Snupe was not signed to Ross' MMG, the Boss thought enough of him to extend an opportunity. It is unclear whether or not Snupe will appear on the August 6 LP. Meek revealed the news on Thursday night when he took a screen shot of a text conversation between him and Snupe and posted it to Instagram. "Rozay want you 2 send a heater 4 self made 3 ..... Some fire..... No sample.... This can b ya first time on a big album," Meek texted to Snupe on June 9, relaying Ross' bossed up message. "He said single type sh--..... Here's ya shot." (MTV)

Meek paid homage to the young rapper's memory and suggested street activity likely contributed to his death yesterday.

"R.I.P 2 my lil f*cking n*gga #lilsnupe I tried everything in my power 2 get that kid out of the streets!," Meek tweeted June 20th.
"The streets killed my Lil n*gga Snupe...I always told him don't try 2 keep it real wit the streets.... Bcuz they won't keep it real wit you"
"Some people go 2 college...Some people go 2 jail...Some make it into heaven some make it into hell...nobody wanna lose nobody wanna fail..." (Meek Mill's Twitter)

Ross also shared the rapper's pain and paid his respects.

"RIP Lil Snupe #Neverforgotten," Ross tweeted June 20th.
"Today we all suffered a great loss far too soon #lilsnupe great spirit, great talent #NeverForgotten Rest in Paradise."
"NEVER take anything for granted.. @MeekMill: Sh*t crazy!" (Rick Ross' Twitter)

The latest reports claim Snupe suffered two bullet wounds to his chest.

Police in north Louisiana are investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old rapper known as Lil Snupe. The Winnfield Police Department says the entertainer, whose real name was Addarren Ross, died Thursday morning after he was shot twice in the chest at an apartment building in the city. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Ross, who lived in Jonesboro, La., recently signed a recording deal with Meek Mill's Dream Chasers label. Police say they are searching for an unidentified "person of interest" but have not established a motive for the shooting. (ABC News Go)
