Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West once again found himself being spotted by paparazzi this week in New York and offered a less-than-friendly response when approached.
Footage of a visibily tense Yeezy lashing out at a photographer landed online Tuesday (June 11).
Kanye West is grumpy ... super, duper grumpers ... and yesterday Mr. Grumperton took out his grumpiness on a really nice photog -- and it was all caught on tape. Yesus was walking around NYC with his posse, when a photog -- not one of ours -- politely asked (from a safe distance) ... "What's good, Kanye?" Kanye's response -- "DON'T ASK ME QUESTIONS, MAN!" The pap said goodbye to KW ... but then he made a fatal mistake -- he wished Kanye a happy belated birthday!!! Kanye's response -- SHUT UP! DON'T EVER TALK! Where's a good parking sign when you need one? (TMZ)
Memorable footage of Yeezy walking into a Hollywood street sign surfaced across the Internet last month.
Kim Kardashian's maternal instincts are already kicking in! The seven-months-pregnant reality star, 32, was house-hunting with beau Kanye West in Bel-Air, Calif. on Friday, May 10, when the rapper suddenly walked straight into a street pole. Dressing her growing baby bump in a black lace cardigan paired with a side braid and chandelier earrings, the expectant mother immediately showed her nurturing side -- going to the rapper's side and kissing his forehead while he seemed to wince from the klutzy mishap. Immediately following the accident, the Chicago native went off on nearby photographers.
An angry West clasped his hand to his head and bent over in pain. "You OK Kanye?" photographers can be heard asking, in footage of the incident. West briefly shouts at a photog to "stop taking f---ing pictures, man," before it appeared that he calmed down and walked away. But this being Kanye West, after all, video recently surfaced showing the hothead stayed true to form and did launch into an expletive-filled tirade against another photographer, who meekly protested, "I just got here." That photographer even tries to offer an olive branch, saying, "If you want me to leave, I'll leave, Kanye." (NY Post)
Last night, Mr. West celebrated his upcoming Yeezus album with an exclusive listening session in the Big Apple.
The Yeezus album rollout has been highly unconventional, even by Kanye West's standards. So it's not surprising that on Monday night, 'Ye invited a wide range of media types, fashion mainstays and his closest friends to the Milk Studios loading dock on Manhattan's west side to get an open-air listen to 10 tracks off of his new LP. 'Ye offered no titles or production credits, instead just letting the album play with pretty much no interruption. When it was all over, he played it back again. The entire LP screams creative freedom (sometimes literally, as Kanye wails over tracks like the punk-laced "Black Skinhead" and EDM-driven "I Am a God"). On the latter, Yeezy looks towards the King of Pop and declares himself "the only rapper compared to Michael." (MTV)
