I'm not taking this anymore. I've got to do what I've got to do and do my music.

Ain't nobody is making music like I like to hear. "Everybody Wanna Be A Big Star" is a song that I did and I was sitting there looking at the video footage, I mean, I took the video camera myself. I'm the director, editor, I'm everything on that.

I just took my camera out because the visuals, nowadays, it's what's really good. If you got a song on YouTube and some music playing, nobody wants to see that. Everybody wants to see some action, they want to see some moving.

I've been sitting on this record for a while now. I've got a couple of songs I put together and they're ready to go. The lyric content now? It just ain't be happening. I'm just trying to put some real hip-hop out the way I remember hip-hop.

I didn't have any vision with the music video. I just grabbed the camera and said, "Let me stand on this wall. Let me stand on this wall. I'm going over here. Lets make a video." It's just really raw and gritty, the way hip-hop was always meant to be.

I'm in Atlanta so I did some of the recording at my son's house, at the strip club, just the places that I go with the camera and everybody's laughing like "Look at Shan!" Now my joint is on SOHH, so now what are they laughing at?
