Naughty By Nature's Treach has stayed true to his promise of releasing a diss record aimed at estranged group member Vin Rock with his new, hard-hitting "Tall Midget" track.
Just over two minutes in length, Treach shows no remorse and goes fully in on his ex-pal of more than two decades.
"Industry rule number one hundred is funny, tall midgets get short money," Treach raps. "I can't, fire the owner because it's me and my deejay/Give a grown man time out, I'm out, buy my swag on eBay/Cash, I get it, grab it, feel the punishment from the savage/Legend, lyrical lord, they call you Uncle Adlib -- You outta my army, can't harm me, or alarm me/F*ck your fat a**, you a bagel away from Barney/You wack rapper, backstabber, so greedy/I'll make it so they'll never see your wack a** on TV/Time to find your own zone" ("Tall Midget")
Yesterday, Treach promised to drop his "Tall Midget" anti-Vin Rock record Tuesday (May 7) night.
"No NAUGHTY shows are Cancelled that's on the the Calendar!!," he tweeted May 7th.
"My Twitter Account wasnt Hacked!! I said it & Stand By it!!"
"Look for the reply to you Cant fire the Owner entitled " TALL MIDGET" Released Tonight!!" (Treach's Twitter)
Vin hopped onto the Naughty By Nature Twitter account to address his ex-comrade's comments.
"I'm waking to drama. Spoke to my publicist. Silence is Golden. In the meantime Business 101: You can't Fire the Owner ;-)," he tweeted May 7th.
"We'll definitely be rocking! Full Force! @Jexpo1976: @rootspicnic Will you have an act replacing @naughtybynature? Was pretty stoked on seeing those cats." (Naughty By Nature's Twitter)
Treach talked to SOHH a couple years ago and boasted about Naughty By Nature's longevity in the rap game.
"The fans have been asking for this. There's not too many groups that have been in the game like we have and still have a following. But the biggest ready why you need to get the album is because your n*gga Trigga said so. For you to have fans and to hear their passion for wanting to hear your music, I'm a fan of my own material. So I've been waiting to hear this as well. It's been ten years since the last album so it's finally time. The fans are never going to have to wait this long again."
