Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller has stepped forward to speak on the pressure he feels of dropping his Watching Movies with the Sound Off on the same day Kanye West's Yeezus and J. Cole's Born Sinner albums arrive.

According to Miller, the initial buzz of Ye's album dropping on June 18th threw him off.

"Kanye's album. It is [dropping that day], for real? You guys have the industry connect. So is it for real? Right. I feel him. At first, I had that date for a while and then it felt so right," Miller said, referring to June 18th. "And then I was a little nervous at first. But I was like, 'This is an omen.'" (Skee TV)

Earlier in the week, J. Cole spoke on his motivation for moving his Born Sinner's release date up a week.

"Instantly the lightbulb [turned on]... it got real. I made one phone call to somebody that would know, just to make sure first. As soon as I got it confirmed, I was like, 'Yo...' The idea hit me instantly: 'You got to go to that date,'" he said. "I'm not going to sit [here]... I worked too hard to come a week later after Kanye West drops an amazing album. It'd be like, 'Oh and J.Cole dropped too, a week later.' Nah. I'm going to go see him on that date. He's the greatest. So it's like, I'm a competitor by nature so it was instant, it wasn't even a thought," the Roc Nation artist continued. (Billboard)

Last weekend, Kanye's Yeezus album title and release date were revealed.

Apparently, his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, is also part of his marketing team. She posted a photo on Instagram Saturday night showing the album artwork for Yeezus alongside a pair of the rapper's Air Yeezy sneakers, which he designed for Nike. "#Yeezus #RedYeezy's #SNL #Tonight #NewSlaves #YeezySeason #Donda #June18," she captioned the image. (USA Today)

Coincidentally, Brooklyn rapper Fabolous recently decided to delay his Loso's Way 2 album from its June 18th release.

Previously due June 18, Loso's Way 2 will now arrive in late July (either the 23rd or 30th). "We actually pushed back a little bit. We needed to handle some technicalities." Twelve years after releasing his debut, Fab feels confident about his status in the game. "I'm cool, I'm blessed, and God has blessed me to be here," he said. "This is a young man's game, so it's a blessing just to be here still now." He plans to do some acting, but music remains his focus. "I definitely want to get more present in the game." (Rap-Up)
