News: Dipset Producer Dodges Death But Not Bullets In Near-Fatal Shooting

Dipset producer AraabMuzik reportedly dodged death this week as reports claim he was hospitalized after being shot in a botched attempted robbery.
Buzz behind the near-fatal incident sprouted online Friday (May 3).
AraabMuzik is recovering after he was shot earlier this week in an attempted robbery. His manager, DukeDaGod, posted an Instagram photo of the producer and MPC virtuoso in the hospital surrounded by a crew of his friends. "Everyone wish my brother @araabmuzik a healthy & pleasant recovery!!!! #Mvpofthempc #Soblessed," reads the post. Rapper Avatar Darko shed more light on the situation on Twitter. "My lil brodi too trill! They tried to rob him and he ain't come up off his shit so they tried get him outta there!" he wrote. (Rolling Stone)
An Araab representative has stepped forward with a statement on what went down.
"Rumors have begun to circulate and first and foremost, we want to let everyone know that AraabMUZIK is currently alive and well," AraabMUZIK's camp said in a statement. "He was out in his neighborhood last night with friends and unfortunately the victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is recovering now and police are investigating the crime. We appreciate all the concern and fan support and Araab is looking forward to a speedy recovery and returning to the stage as soon as he can." (Billboard)
Police are reportedly looking into the shooting but no suspects have been named yet.
AraabMUZIK, who has worked with Busta Rhymes and Fabolous, is "currently alive and well" after being shot Wednesday night, his publicist said in a statement late Thursday. AraabMUZIK, born Abraham Orellana, was hanging out with friends in his neighborhood and was in the wrong place at the wrong time, his rep said. Police are currently investigating the incident.
