Sales Wrap: Daft Punk Rules All, French Montana Lands In Top 5, Rihanna Hits Platinum Status

In this week's Sales Wrap, music duo Daft Punk dominate at No. 1, French Montana kicks his feet up at No. 4 and the Great Gatsby soundtrack rests in Top 5.
Leading the pack this week is Daft Punk's Random Access Memories at No. 1. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the project has sold 339,600 copies after only seven days on store shelves.
Bad Boy Records rookie French Montana's Excuse My French landed at No. 4. With a full week under his belt, French's new LP managed to snatch up 56,300 records. [Check out French Montana's SOHH 5 Reasons]
The Great Gatsby soundtrack, which features tunes from Jay-Z and Beyoncé, slipped a notch to No. 5 with 54,000. Headed into its first full month on store shelves, the project has pushed out 286,000 pieces.
R&B singer Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience fell two slots to No. 9 with 41,800. After ten weeks in the books, JT's newest offering has sold 1,892,800 copies.
Music duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' The Heist fell six spots to No. 17 with 24,400. With 11 weeks under their belt, their new joint effort has sold 753,600 records.
Pop singer Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox moved down a couple notches to No. 19 with 20,900. After 24 weeks of availability, his album has sold 1,259,200 units.
Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne's I Am Not A Human Being II slid a couple spots to No. 23 with 14,600. Headed into week ten, Weezy F. Baby's newest retail effort has sold 452,900 copies.
Soulful singer Fantasia's Side Effects of You dropped six slots to No. 31 with 11,700. With five weeks in the books, her new LP has sold 175,800 records.
The Fast & The Furious 6 soundtrack debuted on the chart this week at No. 32. With a full seven days in the books, the Def Jam release has sold 11,100 copies.
R&B singer Rihanna's Unapologetic slipped six spots to No. 39 with 9,400. After 27 weeks on stores shelves, the project has sold 1,008,800 copies.
Evening things out in Top 50 is Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city falling two spots to No. 42 with 8,800. Headed into week 32, Lamar's newest solo effort has sold 905,300 units.
