Brooklyn rapper Uncle Murda has the Internet in a frenzy with his new "Do Sumthin'" record where he threatens to kill former Death Row Records owner Marion "Suge" Knight.
The new song surfaced online last night (April 17) and stems from Hot 97 radio veteran Funkmaster Flex's new mixtape.
Uncle Murda pulls no punches on "Do Sumthin," off of Funkmaster Flex's mixtape Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself? when it comes to the former Death Row executive, Suge Knight. His gripe consists essentially in the fact that B.I.G. was killed, even though Murda never personally knew the late, great rapper. "I make Brooklyn look good homie, and I'm patiently waiting to kill Suge, homie." (Complex)
Before the track premiered, Murda hinted at it likely causing an uproar.
"i promise you when that new @funkmasterflex mixtape drop tonight I'm gone have the most talked about record on there Movieeeeeeeeeeeeeee," Murda tweeted April 17th. (Uncle Murda's Twitter)
No stranger to disses, West Coast rapper Game previously went at Suge's neck in a live freestyle.
"It's 2010 and I said f*ck Suge!," Game freestyled during a performance. "Because I'm a motherf*cking animal/And they don't know that I'm a cannibal/Emcees I eat 'em, thick b*tches I beat 'em/I fry haters up just 'cause I don't need 'em/Where the f*ck we from, n*gga from Compton/Where the f*ck we from, we from Compton...Weezy, I made that n*gga a Blood, Jim Jones, I made that n*gga a Blood, Gucci [Mane], I made that n*gga a Blood, so when they throw it up, eveybody say what's up...Everybody in this b*tch know what Game 'bout/Suge took the same route...Let's vote, 2010, n*gga f*ck Death Row!" Coincidentally, Knight and one-time music foe Snoop Dogg recently ended their beef.
"I think time heals all wounds," Snoop said in an interview. "And then being a bigger man and being one who accepts responsibility and right or wrong, I like saving lives, I don't like to take lives. If that means putting my hand out saying I'm wrong, I apologize and we be cool, I'll do that as opposed to me going behind my back, pulling a gun out and getting somebody or me doing something vicious to you."
