[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name who they feel is the most underrated emcee in hip-hop. After DJ Kayotik gave Ace Hood the title last week, street artist Jay Shells crowns O.C. SOHH Underrated.]

O.C. is my pick for SOHH Underrated. O.C. is in my Top 10 favorite rappers of all time. He's underrated, he's tried to make some albums lately, some really good but none as good as his first stuff which were undoubtedly classics.

I thought he was going to get a little bit more of a bump when he had Jay-Z on the hook of that song "Bonafide" but it didn't really go. I think he's one of the best underrated hip-hop artists.

I would name Kool G Rap and Roc Marciano but if I had to just choose one, I would say the first emcee that comes to my mind is O.C. I have to pick him.

I've been up on O.C. for years, ever since [1994's] Word...Life dropped. It was just the whole D.I.T.C. fam. I think they were the illest supergroup ever, that's ever been around. Every one of them are in my Top 20.

I just think O.C.'s f*cking dope. If any person who claims they're a fan of hip-hop music takes his first two albums and listens to them, they're going to say, "Holy sh*t. I come I don't know about this f*cking guy. This is a straight classic." Word...Life and Jewelz are two of the best rap albums ever put out.

Jay Shells is an artist and graphic designer based out of the New York City area. He is an avid hip-hop fan and has worked on numerous street-based projects over the past few years.
