Young Money's Drake gave fans a reason to shout last night (April 13) by coming through for a short performance at the annual Jordan Brand Classic event in New York City.
According to reports, Drizzy heated up Brooklyn's Barclays Center with a few notable smash hits.
Drake still has people talking after his harsh comments about Chris Brown and Rihanna. But he turned the focus back to his music, performing at the 2013 Jordan Brand Classic at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Saturday. The Canadian rapper delivered a 15-minute set, cramming in his hits including "The Motto," "Headlines," and "Crew Love," as the audience sang along. According to his fansite Word on Road, he shouted out Jay-Z and said he would return to the arena this fall on his own tour. (Rap-Up)
The star-studded event catered to high-profile entertainers including New York Giants' star Victor Cruz and renowned movie director Spike Lee.
Future basketball stars and some of hip-hop's finest were in attendance at the annual Jordan Brand Classic on Saturday night. The 12th annual showcase moved this year to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, Carmelo Anthony, Spike Lee, Joe Budden, Busta Rhymes, Stalley, N.O.R.E., Victor Cruz, and Chromeo were spotted courtside catching the action. Prior to the action taking place, Drizzy made sure to give fans a head's up of his performance having time restraints.

Drizzy Drake will soon be touching down in Brooklyn for a performance at the 12th annual Jordan Brand Classic. Jordan Brand revealed the news earlier today (March 20th) that the T.O. native will be headlining the 12th annual Jordan Brand Classic which will all be taking place on April 13 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The nationally televised game will find the league's top superstar talents following in the footsteps of Jordan Brand Classic alumnus Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and Blake Griffin--all before the Grammy Award-winning artist hits the stage.
