[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name who they feel is the most underrated emcee in hip-hop. After Fresh Daily gave Oddisee and MeLo-X the title earlier this week, Styles P crowns Chill Rob G SOHH Underrated.]

Hmmm, it really depends on what era you want to go when naming who is the most underrated rapper.

I'm going to go with Chill Rob G. Chill Rob G. I'm going to name him because he's an incredible lyricist who just don't get enough props.

A lot of people remember the songs back in the day from him like "I Got The Power" but his album was crazy. His lyrics were crazy, so for me, going back to the old days, I would say Chill Rob G as the most underrated.

He was clearly underrated. He was down with kicking the flavor. So make sure you go and look him up.

Every great lyricist influenced me from back in the day. From young to old, they influenced me. I think if you're a lyricist, you've got to be influenced by other lyricists. Even with the younger lyricists. It's part of the territory.

Styles P, a member of rap groups The LOX and D-Block, he is also a part of the Ruff Ryders hip-hop group along with DMX, Eve and Drag-On. He grew up on the streets of Yonkers, NY rapping alongside Jadakiss (Jayson Phillips) and Sheek Louch (Shawn Jacobs). In their late teens the trio met Mary J. Blige who was so impressed with their tough street east coast lyrics, she gave them a big break by putting their demo in the hands of Sean "Diddy" Combs. Diddy immediately hired the trio to write for Bad Boy Records. With the label, The LOX quickly started collaborating on hits with Diddy, the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Mariah Carey which gave them instant notoriety and status within the hip-hop and mainstream charts.
