Young Money rapper Drake proved he "Started From the Bottom" but is now on top of the rap game, recently blowing $50,000 at a Charlotte, North Carolina nightclub.
Photos and details of the mega, pricey celebration bubbled online Monday (March 4) afternoon.
These pics are INSANE ... Drake rolled into a strip club in Charlotte, opened a CARDBOARD BOX filled with bricks of cash, and TMZ has pics of the $50,000 rainstorm he unleashed on the dancers. It all went down at Cameo Nightclub, and by the time Drake was done there was so much cash ... it literally carpeted the floor. We're told another rapper named Bleu Davinci chipped in an additional $25,000. There's been a lot of talk about whether Drake has real street cred ... or if he's just a poser with a privileged upbringing. (TMZ)
Last year, Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy boasted about bringing huge bank rolls to break strip club records in Miami.
"I think while I'm in miami imma go to a strip club and breAk my own record! Imma throw atleast 2 mill. For everyone. Not just the strippers," he tweeted May 24th, 2012. (Diddy's Twitter)
In 2011, model/stripper Blacc Chyna called out rap star Rick Ross for lying about being a big spender.
"Who the f*ck Rick Ross threw a million dollars [at]," Blacc Chyna said in a video. "If Rick Ross threw a million dollars, guess where I'd be? Not here! Boom! Pow! Pow! Pow! Shots f*cking fired! Ross? He think he who? I can't wait until he comes out with a song where he says, 'I think I'm Blacc Chyna.' [laughs] Officer Ricky!" (Delirious Domain)
Earlier the same year, reports of Ross' $1 million strip club spree hit the Internet.
Rick Ross knows how to burn money. The 'B.M.F.' rapper recently celebrated his 35th birthday in his hometown of Miami, shelling out approximately $1 million for a wild night on the town. The Bawse followed his birthday party at Play nightclub with an after-hours bash at Miami's famed King of Diamonds strip club, where he was joined by a handful of celebrity friends, including Busta Rhymes, Pharrell Williams and fellow Bugatti Boys member, Diddy. During the course of the night, Ross reportedly spent $1 million at the popular Miami strip club, where Lil Wayne also celebrated his return to the city, after serving jail time in New York.
