News: UPDATE: Chris Brown Wants To Cake Up After Paps-Influenced Wreck

R&B singer Chris Brown is reportedly looking to press criminal charges on a handful of paparazzi allegedly responsible for causing him to total his pricey car in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Although details are still scarce, Chris Breezy is reportedly intent in justice being served.
Chris Brown plans to sue the paparazzi, who he alleges were responsible for him crashing his car in an alley in Los Angeles on Saturday. Now, Brown wants to take legal action against the paparazzi, who reportedly are saying they had nothing to do with the accident, and only arrived on the sceneafter he had crashed. A rep for Brown tells Gossip Cop, "We plan on seeking criminal charges and holding them civilly liable." (Gossip Cop)
Since Brown's crash went down, the accused paparazzi have stepped up to defend themselves.
The paparazzi are telling Chris Brown it's time for "no B.S." Photographers say they aren't the reason the R&B trainwreck crashed his black Porsche Saturday in Beverly Hills, despite Brown's claim he was the subject of an "aggressive pursuit" that caused him to smash into a wall in an alleyway. "No photographers were following him at the time he crashed," Chris Doherty, the owner of INF photo agency told the celebrity website TMZ. "He crashed his car and it's convenient for him to blame us. He needs to be careful with his defamatory statements." (NY Daily News)
In initial reports, Brown painted himself the victim to overly aggressive paparazzi.
Police in Beverly Hills say Chris Brown escaped injury after crashing his Porsche into a wall while being chased by paparazzi. Lt. Lincoln Hoshino said the collision occurred around noon Saturday. Brown told police that he lost control of his black Porsche during the chase. Hoshino said police will investigate the incident. He said he didn't know whether the paparazzi in the pursuing vehicles have been identified. (ABC News)
One of his representatives even came forward with an official statement.
The singer's rep tells E! News, "Chris Brown was in a car accident this afternoon after being ruthlessly pursued by paparazzi. He was in his vehicle by himself headed to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy for a Symphonic Love Foundation event when two vehicles cut him off." "The occupants jumped out, with cameras, and agressively approached his vehicle," the rep continues. "In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he began to back down an alley at which point his was cut off by two additional vehicles. Chris' vehicle was totaled due to this agressive pursuit by the paparazzi. He is okay." (E! Online)
