Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has exploded on adopted hometown NBA team Miami Heat over an incident during their Sunday (February 10) game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Last summer, Wayne caught heat when he claimed the Oklahoma City Thunder denied him access to a Western Conference match-up against the San Antonio Spurs.
Oklahoma City spokesman Dan Mahoney told the Associated Press that Lil' Wayne's representatives did contact the team about a ticket, but the courtside seat that was requested was not available. "We'd love to have him at a game, but like anyone else, he needs a ticket," Mahoney said. Lil' Wayne has claimed in the past to be a Los Angeles Lakers in an article he wrote for ESPN The Magazine. A couple years ago, Wayne aired out personal issues toward the Heat.
When Wayne sat court-side at a recent Miami Heat/New Orleans Hornets game he was upset that Lebron James and Dwayne Wade never came over to talk to him. "Them n*ggas never speak to a n*gga," he says. "They don't chuck me the deuce or nothing. N*gga spent all that money on them f*cking tickets ... Come holla at me. We sit right by them little b*tch-a** n*ggas. At least come ask me why I'm not rooting for you." (Rolling Stone)
