With 50 Cent releasing his new "We Up" anthem heading into the weekend, SOHH recently talked to G-Unit/Rida Gang's Kidd Kidd to find out how his life has changed since joining forces with Curtis Jackson last year.

For Kidd Kidd, the New Orleans native said the only thing which has been altered since linking with Fif is how many worldwide shows and venues he now gets exposed to.

"That's the only thing that has changed [since joining G-Unit/Rida Gang], I've seen the world a lot more, I've got to see the world a lot more and travel more. But other than that, I'm still in the studio all day, [laughs], still working hard, you gotta work hard. If you work for it, you deserve it," Kidd told SOHH when asked what has changed since officially joining G-Unit/Rida Gang last year. "Morocco was one of my favorite places I've seen. For one, I got to go to Africa and for another, it was just crazy. It was crazy. It was probably the biggest crowd that I've ever, ever stepped in front of. It was like 450,000 people, probably even more than that. Just seeing how crazy people were out there because it's like there's no rules out there. There's no rules, no red lights, it was crazy. I had the most fun out there. I had a home feeling, for some reason, I just felt that in Morocco." (SOHH)

Kidd also said the frequent global traveling has made New Orleans more of a vacation spot when he comes back home to see family.

"I've been to a lot of places since hooking up with 50. Outside of Morocco, I would have to say one of my favorite places has been Amsterdam," Kidd added. "I think I may have been born there. [laughs] Word. I record a lot of music on the road, I do a lot of new music on the road. I like to go back to New Orleans and really just be with the family. It's more like a vacation when I go back home. I'm kind of like on vacation because I'm gone so much. When I'm at home, I just try to enjoy every minute." (SOHH)

Heading into the weekend, 50's new "We Up" track bubbled across the Internet.

A few weeks ago, 50 Cent posted a preview of the video for "We Up," his collaboration with Kendrick Lamar and G-Unit signee Kidd Kidd. Perhaps because he didn't want the full black-and-white, tuxedo-heavy video to be overshadowed by a certain other clip with those elements that dropped this week, Fiddy today (February 15) premiered the full song, sans video. While Kidd Kidd prepares for his G-Unit/Rida Gang solo debut, 50 is placing the final touches on his delayed Street King Immortal LP.

On Wednesday, the "I Get Money" MC revealed to MTV News that Street King won't be out on February 26 and is now slated for a spring release, citing internal changes at Interscope Records as the reason. "Actually it's the system," he said. "It's a lot of adjustments being made there, obviously Christmas I think 35 people got let go." In the past, Fif has really taken Interscope to task when it came to delays and leakage of his music. This time, however, he seems to be understanding of the situation and exercising a great deal of patience. "It's a shift in who's responsibilities are what, so as fast as they get it together," he said. "I'm confident they'll put it together though, so it'll be out." (MTV)
