Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has sent out a quick shot to A$AP Rocky's sidekick in rhymes A$AP Ferg over the upcoming release of his Trap Lord mixtape.
Gucci hopped onto his Twitter page Wednesday (February 13) to accuse Ferg of jacking the title from his new Trap God 2 mixtape.
"ASAP whoever calling his mixtape trap lord niggas need to get off my d*ck and let they momma get on it," Gucci tweeted February 13th. (Gucci Mane's Twitter)
Rather than fall back, Ferg spoke up for himself and responded to Gucci's comment.
"TRAP LOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD ACROSS MY BELLLYYY!!! N*GGAS IS WASHED UP LOLOL," Ferg responded.
"THERES A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GODS AND LORDS " LORDS NEVER WORRY" tTRAP LORD" (A$AP Ferg's Twitter)
Coincidentally, A$AP announced his upcoming underground project's title last month.
Fresh off announcing his deal with Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records, A$AP Ferg has revealed that he has a mixtape on the way. He broke the news in an interview with XXL, in which he notes that the project, Trap Lord, is all "about having fun." He adds that he's been riding shotgun with A$AP Rocky for a minute and that this release will be "the part where they see what success brings you." We can expect to hear Trap Lord in late February or early March. (Complex)
A few weeks ago, Ferg officially joined forces with Polo Grounds/RCA Records.
"I'm just proud right now because this is everything we wished and hoped for. A$AP Ferg worked hard for this and I put all my faith and backing into him. I feel like 'Work' is our generation's 'Sippin On Some Syrup' or 'Chickenhead,' it has that feeling." (Statement)
