R&B singer Chris Brown is not letting the small stuff get to him, coming forward and downplaying dicey words shot his way from an alleged gang member while out in Los Angeles earlier in the week.
According to Chris Breezy, he intentionally avoided any serious altercation by merely shooting back a few comments and driving away.
Chris Brown says he wasn't fazed by the self-proclaimed gang member who screamed at him outside a Hollywood nightclub this week ... telling TMZ that's just how things go in L.A.. We broke the story ... Brown was confronted by an N-bomb dropping loudmouth who claimed he was a member of the Crips -- as he was leaving Playhouse late Wednesday night. It's unclear why he was screaming at Brown, but he seemed to be making a veiled threat when he asked CB if his car was bulletproof. Chris eventually drove away from the scene, but not before dropping a few F-bombs and N-bombs of his own. But when we saw Brown leaving an L.A. art studio Friday afternoon ... we asked him what he was thinking during the incident, to which he replied, "It's L.A. brother." He continued, "You just gotta keep your head down and keep walking." (TMZ)
Details on the near-physical altercation bubbled online a few days ago.
A video of Breezy being heckled as he hopped into his Lamborghini -- remember, his Porsche was totaledwhile being chased by the paparazzi -- has landed online and it's actually a bit scary since one of the dudes giving Breezy a hard time claims a gang association. The heckler, who accosted the singer outside of the L.A. club Playhouse, asked Breezy multiple times if the car is "bulletproof." Breezy then appears to ask the heckler if he is bulletproof. Things got a little dicey for a moment, especially when the person said, "I'm a Crip n---, hell yeah, I'm bulletproof!" Breezy rolls down the window to say something to the man and then drives away. Outside of avoiding wars, Chris Breezy has stayed on the mind of current, reunited love interest Rihanna.
Rihanna has opened up like never before about getting back together with her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, and what it means for her public image. "I decided it was more important for me to be happy," she tells contributing editor Josh Eells in the new issue of Rolling Stone, out Friday, January 31st. "I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that. Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it." (Rolling Stone)
Their reunion has even caught the attention and approval of fellow celebrities like R&B veteran Mary J. Blige.
"They give her a hard time because she's living her life. As long as she's having fun and isn't three minutes away from wanting to shoot herself, good! I want her to be happy. That's impressive to me. And I love her songs. Adele also gives me hope. God bless Amy Winehouse. She was just the perfect thing." (VIBE)
