News: 50 Cent Says Young Buck/Game Won't Be In G-Unit Reunion, Calls Out Artists' Work Ethics

G-Unit head 50 Cent recently talked about the possibility of reuniting Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks for a long-awaited group comeback after a quiet falling out sometime last year.
While he sees a reunion possibly going down, Fif made sure to point out it would be with the original crew, not ex-members Young Buck and Game.
"The original G-Unit, maybe. We might do something. I'll be honest with you. Some of these new artists on the label I don't think are working as hard as they could. I don't know how hard they want to work or how much they want it. I could see the original coming back together though." (ESPN)
The G-Unit general also talked about growing wise with a full decade of experience in the music industry now under his belt.
"I'm a lot happier these days. I've matured. I'm doing what I enjoy. I don't think some of these rappers fell in love with music the way I did. How hungry are they? It's easy to put out video clips. But what about writing the music and getting out there and working? You have to focus on what got you there." (ESPN)
Last week, Buck publicly spoke out from jail and said he wanted an opportunity to clear things up with Fif.
This morning, Young Buck dropped the new track, "I See Why," off the up-coming joint album with Tha City Paper, Gangsta and Street 2. But not before getting some stuff off his chest about the much talked about G-Unit reunion conversation. "Why Do People, Still Think I'm Beefing With G-Unit, Ain't No Beef.. I Wish Everyone Well.. I'm Doing Me.. Fif Yay Lbanks game YB unit reunion. What would happen if the Unit Got back together?? Spoke with Game before going to prison, we still good.. That JP album dope...," he tweeted earlier. "Haven't Spoken To Fif in about 7 years I think it's time we talk. It's not about the reunion.. it's bigger than that it's about life and acknowledging your wrongs and moving forward.. I was a Young Buck." (XXL Mag)
A few weeks ago, Curtis Jackson said a reunion involving Game would likely never go down.
"Every time there was nothing going on [Game] said "F*ck you, 50," to generate some sort of new interest. But now that doesn't work anymore. So you gotta figure out a new way to do it. And now it's saying, 'We'll get G-Unit back together!' ... If it worked it would be something cool that I did. [But] what would you say if I actually did put it together and then it fell apart right in front of you? Or if I bring them around each other and their feelings from a long time -- the disrespect and the talking -- bleed over into the people that are just around them and then one of them gets shot and killed, or one of them gets stabbed and hurt bad. Then what?" (The Boom Box)
