Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross has stayed true to his word, after a minor one week setback, annoucing the title of his upcoming God Forgies, I Don't follow-up.
Rather than let loose with a Twitter post, Ricky Rozay chose a more cinematic way to unleash his next solo album's title.
Rick Ross is much busier than you. In 2012 -- all while running Maybach Music Group -- he released two mixtapes, an MMG comp and probably the best album of his career thus far, God Forgives, I Don't. (Somewhere in there, he also found time to nab a role in the Starz series "Magic City"). Well, 2013 is shaping up to be more of the same from Rozay. Today (January 7) he premiered a trailer for his sixth album, Mastermind, which is set to drop later this year. The clip features all the hallmarks of the Bawse Life: booze, babes, hot tubs, leopard prints, actual leopards. (Idolator)
Last week, Rozay revealed plans to announce his new LP title today (January 7).
"For everyone still celebrating New Years like myself..Im now releasing NEW LP Title Jan.7!!"
"Jan7 we unify the belts.can only be one.," Ross tweeted January 2nd. (Rick Ross' Twitter)
Fans initially expected him to unveil the Mastermind's title come New Year's Day.
Miami Hip-Hop star Rick Ross has announced the date he will reveal the title of his next album. Rick Ross is currently putting the finishing touches on his sixth studio album, the follow-up to last year's Gold selling effort, God Forgives, I Don't. The rapper revealed that he will ring in the New Year, by releasing the name of his album title on January 1. (All Hip Hop Rumors)
Last August, his latest solo effort dominated its competition atop the sales chart.
Leading the way this week is Rick Ross' God Forgives, I Don't at No. 1. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the Boss' new LP has shelled out 219,100 copies after seven days in stores. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
