Fresh Friday. It's all about getting fresh heading into the weekend and what better way to start than Kris Humphries thinking he needs something a little more fresher than $10 million from Kim Kardashian? Balling for real? Speaking of touchy topics, is "American Idol" racist? A bunch of former contestants think so. It might not be "American Idol" but it turns out Drake might be getting the "Nice Knowing Ya" treatment courtesy of Lil Wayne? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. Ball So Hard

It's no secret that Kris Humphries is getting the worst of his publicized divorce from Kim Kardashian. At first, most of us were feeling a bit bad for him, thinking Kim really played him to be a fool but since things have stretched out this far, it's starting to look like he's more of the bad guy than victim in this entire thing, especially when he allegedly turned down $10 million to end the divorce once and for all. Radar Online has more:

Kim Kardashian offered her estranged husband, Kris Humphries, a cool $10 million in a desperate bid to settle their bitter divorce battle once and for all -- but he turned her down flat --RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. "After Kim filed for divorce, she offered Kris a $10 million payoff, with the agreement that he would not continue to pursue an annulment to their marriage on the grounds of fraud," a source close to the situation tells Radar exclusively. Unfortunately for Kim though, money didn't sway the NBA star, and he vowed to stick to his guns and prove in a court of law that their short-lived marriage was a sham. "Kris flatly rejected the offer because it has never been about money for him," the source says. "He wants to be able to marry in a church again, with a clear conscience, when he finds someone special. Kris is deeply religious and he believes that the only way he can do that is if his marriage to Kim is annulled. (Radar Online)

There's a thin line between having pride and just being plain ol' greedy and it looks like Kris might be going about this in the wrong way. #SOHHWhatchaThink?

2. America's Dream

Could "American Idol" be racist of all things? Considering the show is televised to millions throughout the world, to think they would even take the chance of doing anything sketchy is a bit hard to believe but there's now word that something is definitely up over there. Even though there's been Black winners before, rumors are out that something fishy is stirring up. TMZ has the inside:

american-idol-lawsuit-2013-01-25-600x600.jpeg

Nine black former "American Idol" contestants -- from various seasons -- are banding together to SUE the show ... claiming they were all FORCED off "Idol" as part of a racist (and illegal) plot to boost ratings. TMZ has obtained a letter, submitted to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission by NY attorney James H. Freeman -- in which he asks for permission to sue Idol and FOX on behalf of his clients ... who have all appeared on the show: FYI, Freeman is required to file with the EEOC before filing suit. Corey Clark (Season 2), Jaered Andrews (Season 2), Donnie Williams (Season 3), Terrell Brittenum (Season 5), Derrell Brittenum (Season 5), Thomas Daniels ?(Season 6), Akron Watson (Season 6), Ju'Not Joyner (Season 8) and Chris Golightly (Season 9). (TMZ)

This looks like it could have the potential to get really messy, really quickly. Considering the men listed on here range all the way back to Season one through Season nine, it seems like this is pretty serious. Could "American Idol" be shutting down shop for good if this blows up? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

3. I'm Leaving

We've heard this so many times before, it's almost worth considering just ignoring it but much like those Beyoncé pregnancy rumors from throughout the past four or five years up until she gave birth to Blue Ivy, it's a must-read. Seems as though Drake and Lil Wayne aren't seeing eye to eye and a change is getting ready to take place. Media Take Out is all over this:

Drake & Lil WayneDrake & Jay-Z

January 25, 2013: MediaTakeout.com just got word this morning that Young Money and Roc Nation are working FEVERISHLY to close a deal whereby Drake would be SOLD to Jay Z's label. The deal is NOT YET complete and there are still a few obstacles to making it work. But MediaTakeOut.com learned that the deal would involve Young Money receiving close to $50 MILLION for the rights to Drake. Developing . . . (Media Take Out)

Isn't it hard to believe an artist's contract, and essentially themselves, can be "sold" like it's nothing? Sure, we might consider the music industry much like sports entertainment but getting traded or even sold? It would be a great look for Jay-Z's Roc Nation if this is true, but the idea of Drake not being a Young Money artist for life? That's a tough pill to swallow. #SOHHWhatchaThink?

That about wraps it up for today. This is SOHH On The Spot giving you the morning scoop from your favorite gossip sites.
