[SOHH highlights a hot record each Tuesday and offers a unique look at the track in Singled Out. After Chino XL explained his "Father's Day" track, G-Unit's Kidd Kidd breaks down his "New Warleans" anthem.]

The song started off because I ran into Juvenile at the club. He already knew who I am and he respects me and I respect him. We cool through mutual friends and in the streets so when we met up it was like, "What's up? Let's do something, you know?" He was like, "I got something I want you to get on" and I was like, "Aight, cool."

So I did that for him and I shot him the "New Warleans" track because I already had the track but I was like, "This would be a good song for him to get on." I knew it would be good for the city. If you're a fan of Juvenile, then you already know he says some real stuff and that's just what I was looking for on that song.

We did the video and it had to be done in New Orleans. It was only right. We did the video right there in the hood. Juvenile came through because I'm from downtown and he's from uptown. So I had him downtown in the Ninth Ward and we got it in. It came out good.

Big shout-out to Eif Rivera, he really made it all come together. I look at it like y'all look at. I look at it like, "This is a really fire video!" And it's a real song. It's different than anything that's out there right now.

I've been running with Eif. If you look at my other videos, they were done with Eif before [I signed with] 50 Cent. He's been around, he's just the homie. Everything's just a blessing. I'm blessed to be around people who are coming up in the game.
