West Coast rapper Game's appearance and speculated role in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V video game has started to intensify with new cover art circulating online.

Although fan-made, the rap star's return to the popular Rockstar Games franchise is clearly expressed in the new promo art.

The GTA 5 release date for Xbox 360 and PS3 is fast approaching. Rocksta rhas confirmed the game's launch for spring 2013, and the latest rumor is that rapper "The Game" may show up to the next "Grand Theft Auto" party. Will "The Game" play a feature role when the GTA 5 release date arrives. We can't say anything for sure, but some new fan art released by the Money Gang Facebook page. What role will "The Game" play in GTA 5 when the release date arrives? Well we already know that "The Alchemist" has been brought on to compose a soundtrack that will play during missions. However, it's possible that "The Game" could be featured in the GTA 5 soundtrack. It's also possible that either the rapper of all of "Money Gang" may get their own "Grand Theft Auto" radio station. Recently, fellow West Coast hip-hop artist Alchemist got latched to the game.

A returning rapper may be composing an original music score for the upcoming multiplatform title, "GTA 5." According to a report by Pinoy Tutorial today, Alan Daniel Maman, who goes by the stage name of Alchemist, posted a message on Twitter (that has since been deleted) revealing that he will be working with Rockstar Games to make a new song specifically for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 video game. The rapper's music tracks previously appeared in "Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars." (Examiner)

Back in November, Game reportedly confirmed his return to the popular franchise.

For those of you that remember "B-Dup" from "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," you may have realized that this character was voiced by rapper, "The Game." On Nov. 5, "The Game" was interviewed by Studio 96, in which he revealed some interesting information regarding "GTA 5 ," which is shown in the slide-show above. When asked if he would be appearing in the upcoming "GTA 5," he confirmed that he has done work on the game with Rockstar. This confirms that we will definitely see at least one character return from "San Andreas" in "GTA 5." (Examiner)

In 2004's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, he played the character "Mark 'B-Dup' Wayne."

OG B-Dup recently (and suspiciously) moved out of his Ganton home and into Glen Park - Balla territory. Rumours suggest that he has drifted apart from gang banging and into "other activies." Allegations of false imprisonment and kidnapping of friends persist. Often seen alongside Barry "Big Bear" Thorne, whom he has drugged up. B-Dup is voiced by Jayceon Taylor, who is nicknamed "The Game". The Game was born into a life of gang-banging and hustling - his father being a Nutty Block Crip and his mother a Hoover Crippelette. He recalls seeing his parents preparing to do drive-by's. (GTA San Andreas)
