News: Did Jay-Z Pressure Frank Ocean To Hit Chris Brown W/ Legal Knockout Punch?

Days after the publicized fight between R&B singers Frank Ocean and Chris Brown went down, new reports now debunk rap mogul Jay-Z may have pressured the Odd Future member to take legal action.
Despite the speculation and rumors, new information suggests Hov had no role in Ocean's post-fight actions.
According to a police report, Ocean was attacked by Brown and the singer's entourage outside a recording studio in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Ocean was initially reluctant to file charges, but MTO says he's had a change of heart since talking to Jigga. That's interesting, because a "TOP SOURCE" close to Jigga tells RumorFix that Hov did not pressure Ocean to file charges against Brown, in fact, he hasn't even talked to the singer. (RumorFix)
Initial claims alleged Ocean had Jay's influence in going after Brown legally.
"Oh, what a DIFFERENCE a day makes - and a call from Jay Z. MediaTakeOut.com received word from a top source that after speaking to Jay-Z, Frank Ocean has changed his mind. We're told that Frank is expected to file criminal charges against Breezy before the week is out. And is looking into filing a civil suit against Breezy too." (Media Take Out)
Reports of Frank's legal route strategy surfaced online a couple days ago.
Although officials have yet to file any formal charges, Frank Ocean says he wants Chris Brown prosecuted in light of their scuffle over a parking space in West Hollywood, according to a Reuters report. That would be very bad news for Brown, who's on probation for assaulting his girlfriend, Rihanna, the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards. If charges were filed, it's possible that Brown's probation could be revoked, Reuters said. (Los Angeles Times)
A post-altercation photo of Chris Brown rocking a hand cast popped up Tuesday (January 29).
Chris Brown may have some explaining to do .... for a guy who says he didn't do anything wrong in the brawl with Frank Ocean ... why is his punching hand in a cast? Chris emerged from his house Tuesday in a hard cast over his right hand, covering his knuckles. Although we know Chris' version of events is that he did NOT throw the first punch, an eyewitness who spoke with TMZ says he initiated the attack with a swing. (TMZ)
