Former Bad Boy Records rapper Shyne has his eyes on single R&B diva Rihanna, publicly announcing his New Year Resolution is to convert the "Good Girl Gone Bad" hitmaker.

If Shyne has it his way, RiRi will be under his wing at some point in 2013.

"Say blood, I'm a go on & jump out the window! My 2013 resolution is to convert@rihanna & make her my thug wife! She deserve a real mobster!," Shyne tweeted December 23rd. (Shyne's Twitter)

A couple years ago, Shyne told SOHH he wanted to share microphone time with the eye-catching singer.

"I definitely want to collaborate with Baby, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane," Shyne revealed to SOHH. "I'd also want to record with Usher, Rihanna, there's a few people that I'm jacking their style, definitely. Obviously Jay-Z is always somebody you'd like to do a record with." (SOHH)

Earlier this month, R&B artist Chris Brown revealed an intimate photo alongside Rihanna.

Brown made no comment about his hiatus from the service that has bedeviled him in the past? or about his return, but simply posted a black and white Instagram pic of himself with a satisfied look and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth as Rihanna lounged in the background in a bra and underwear, wrapped up in a camouflage blanket. The caption of the picture was, "What would music today sound like if these kids didn't exist?" At press time, Brown hadn't posted any new tweets, and the only message on the page was, "Keep it here for all things Chris Brown, updates from the tour and more ... #CarpeDiem." The background of the page featured images from Brown's current tour and noted that @chrisbrown hasn't tweeted yet, with no links to his previous Twitter history. (MTV)

Recent reports claim the newly reunited couple once again split up sometime this month.

The Diamonds singer - who just splashed out $12 million on a new home in the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles - will join a raft of celebrities who traditionally decamp to the island, including X Factor supremo Simon Cowell, Top Shop billionaire Sir Philip Green, as well as a host of music executives. The 24-year-old singer, who has a net worth of $72 million, always returns to her native Barbados for Christmas, and was reported to be joined by Chris Brown before their very public split this week.
