This is something that I know people have been talking about for so many years. So you know, one day I was just sitting down smoking some of that good-good that we call sour diesel and I was feeling real Brooklyn at the moment so I started talking about two of the most important guys from Brooklyn which is Biggie and Jay-Z and how people always say, "Who was better?"

I just wanted to put that together on the record and then you know Nas' name always gets brought up in the conversation so that's what I have Nas in there also. I just felt like let me talk about the Biggie and Jay-Z sh*t from how I saw it. I know everybody has their own opinions.

That's what I really wanted. I know some people might feel Biggie or Jay-Z weren't the greatest. Some people felt 2Pac, some people say Nas, some people say KRS-One, some people say Rakim or whoever. You might have your own opinion on who the best is and I was just giving it to you from my point of view and people I be around.

I just got it out there to keep peopling talking. I wanted those barbershop talks going on a bit longer.

I can't lose. If you're from Brooklyn, you can say Biggie or Jay-Z because at the end of the day, they both represent Brooklyn and they represent it well. It's like what I was telling people about the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets. I love the Knicks to death but how can I be mad when the Brooklyn Nets win or beat them? That's Brooklyn.
