Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may have a baby on the way, but the superstar couple are looking to cash-in on some big bucks in Las Vegas for New Year's Eve.
According to reports, Kardashian is hosting an event Monday (December 31) night in Sin City.
Kim Kardashian delivered the baby bombshell herself Monday and still planned to shake her pregnant assets as the host of a New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas, a source told the Daily News. "She'll be here," Kelsey Lima, a VIP coordinator for the pricey party at 1 Oak in the Mirage resort said just hours before the expected red carpet arrival. "She'll definitely be here to count down to midnight, but obviously she won't be partying hard." Lima said "nobody" could confirm whether baby daddy Kanye West would join the $125-per ticket festivities. (New York Daily News)
If all goes accordingly, Kim K can expect Yeezy alongside her as they enter 2013.
Sources tell us Kim will pull in six-figures for the appearance -- plus, boozing is a non-issue for KK ... who, we're told, has never been a big drinker anyway. Also, our Kardashian sources say Kanye will be by Kim's side during the ritzy event -- it costs $125 just to stand in VIP -- and at least another $3,000 to get a table. That's all before you buy champagne to toast Kimye's baby. (TMZ)
Hours after Kanye broke their baby news, Kim confirmed the buzz on her personal blog.
"It's true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo" (Kim Kardashian's Blog)
Mr. West made the announcement public Sunday (December 30) night in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The rapper announced at a concert Sunday night that his girlfriend is pregnant. He told the crowd of more than 5,000 at Revel Resort's Ovation Hall in song form: "Now you having my baby." The crowd roared. And so did people on the Internet. The news instantly went viral on Twitter and Facebook, with thousands posting and commenting on the expecting couple. (CBS News)
