Roc Nation rapper Jay Electronica has revealed his respect for Bad Boy Records' French Montana in light of his current war of words with hip-hop foe 50 Cent.
Although he does not view Montana as the most lyrical emcee, Jay Elect applauded the rapper's flashy persona.
"Truth be told French Montana is not a lyricall n*gga but he got that Birdman swagg. Its the magnolia in me," he tweeted December 25th.
"So I f*x w frenchy but for not for the raps for the swag"
"Ps, I dare 50 to say one word!!!"
"50 where you at you sneak instagram a** n*hgga. I seen ya sh*t!! What's good. Ricky rozzay LL cool jayd that a**"

Around mid-December, West Coast rapper Game spoke on the Montana/50 feud.
"I'm so far removed from that beef with him that I had to pretty much laugh at it," Game said, referring to Fif's diss to him and Young Buck on "My Life." "I'm a big fan of Eminem so I like what he did. Adam [Levine] is my dude. I helped clear that record for 50. Me and Adam got the same management, so people had to come see me and play the record. So I heard me get dissed before people heard it. ... I seen him and French Montana going at it about a week ago on Twitter. French was making fun of him and doing the same things that I was doing. But at the end of the day, it's healthy for the game. I love it, it keeps me laughing at the crib." (Skee TV)
Unlike Game, Maybach Music Group's Gunplay had little interest in the new rap feud when asked about it a week prior.
"Listen, I don't give a flying f*ck about them n*ggas, man. I don't care if they fight each other, I don't care. You understand what I'm saying," Gunplay said in an interview referring to Fif and French. "I don't even see 'em, they're nothing to me, nobody is really, I don't see nobody. I see right through all these c*nts, there's nothing. I don't care what this c*nt was talking to this c*nt about, they can sit there and have a c*nt-versation all day, I don't care. That's they a**. I f*cks with French, that's my homie, but where he eats, I don't sh*t." (Global Grind)
In late November, Fif likened Montana to his one-time rap foe Ja Rule.
"He runs his mouth prematurely, he's not ready to compete on any level with me," Fif said in an interview. "When I drop a record and it becomes the number one selling record in twelve hours, after you saying that, I think you should be quiet a little bit. You should hear the crickets now. So moving forward, I'll put him completely out of business. I'll put him out of business off the block, the corner -- he only had one song and you didn't even care about it because it was him, it had four other people on it. You don't got to pick a side -- my run itself will pick a side. That's your new Ja Rule right now. He's going to be your new Ja Rule." (Peter Parker)
