Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs has heated up the Internet with speculation of a falling out with Atlanta's Young Jeezy after signing to his Corporate Thugz Entertainment last year.

Brief with his words, Freddie hinted at a possibly now having independent status on Twitter.

"I'm the coldest Free Agent in the game.," he tweeted December 8th.
"Feelin like Lebron at decision time." (Freddie Gibbs' Twitter)

The tweets reportedly follow Gibbs' public remarks about his distanced Jeezy relationship.

This all came shortly after Gibbs went on Power 105.1's Breakfast Club and claimed that the delay of his debut The Neck Tie Party LP was because he didn't really have a label to release it. Gibbs then said that conflicting schedules had kept him from meeting with Jeezy much but that he is still "cliqued up" with CTE. (Complex)

Last fall, Freddie put the "Snowman" on his SOHH Top 5 Dead Or Alive list.

"Young Jeezy. Jeezy created his own lane. Even if I wasn't signed to Jeezy, I'd say the same sh*t. It's alotta n*ggas that have careers because of him. They're feedin' their families off of a lane Jeezy created. I ain't gotta say no names, you know who them motherf*ckers are." (SOHH Top 5 Dead Or Alive)

In spring 2011, the Midwest rapper defended his decision to join Jeezy's crew.

"It feels good," Freddie told DJ Smallz in an interview. "It's always good to work with people that you respect and people you have mutual respect for. I bump Jeezy. I think he carved his own lane in the game and that's what I'm trying to do. And what better way to elevate myself to the next level than doing it with somebody that I admire and respect. The situation with CTE, Jeezy, it felt correct...This is a long process for myself, but, I went with the gut feeling instead of just going with all the impulse and signing with someone just because they're hot or some sh*t like that. I ain't wanna be a d*ckrider because I see a lot of that in the game right now. So I just wanted to do things my way." ("Southern Smoke Radio")
