G-Unit head 50 Cent recently discussed Chicago rapper Chief Keef's publicized no-show last month for their "Hate Bein' Sober" music video and said the teen has yet to address what went down.
Despite having love for the up-and-coming rapper, Fif said their music video never went into production.
"As far as Chief Keef is concerned, I'm a Chief Keef fan. I like what he is because he's something that's been completely created by the environment, that's what hip-hop was initially. His age says my son would be Chief Keef if he didn't make it. ... Man, he didn't show up [to the video shoot]. He's so hot in his circle that they felt he could actually do that. He didn't respond. The video still ain't shot." (Power 106)
Fif's new music rival French Montana used the publicized incident to taunt him this week.
"@50cent how your sun burn doin from waitin in da desert for 12 hours lol," French tweeted November 30th. (French Montana's Twitter)
Despite the no-show, Fif still managed to make the best out of his time on set.
50 Cent is ridin' around and gettin' it in the video for "United Nations," a cut off his mixtape 5 (Murder by Numbers). The hip-hop mogul rocks his SMS headphones and a Dsquared muscle tee as he drives around the Las Vegas desert in an ice blue Bentley. 50 shot the Eif Rivera-directed clip when Chief Keef was a no-show to his "Hate Bein' Sober" video shoot. "I shot the UNITED NATIONS VIDEO when the my Man @ChiefKeef didn't come to his video shoot," he tweeted. (Rap-Up)
Last month, the G-Unit head said Keef's actions likely came from the people he keeps around him.
"@ChiefKeef is my boy I'm a get everything back in place for him. They were gonna just throw him out.," Fif tweeted Wednesday (November 21).
"I told them at intrescope its not him he just has the wrong people around him." (50 Cent's Twitter)
