Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy has let out a few howls after a Midwest concert promoter reportedly stiffed him out of a concert and hotel stay in Kentucky last weekend.
According to reports, Scrappy arrived to the concert venue but did not get paid in full to perform.
Lil Scrappy says he was left with no money and no roof over his head after a concert promoter screwed him over ... on a messed up night that culminated with police intervention. Scrappy tells TMZ, he was scheduled to perform at Club Vizion Sunday in Louisville, KY, but when he showed up to do the show -- the promoter didn't have the money to pay him ... so Scrappy refused to take the stage. Crowds of people had already shown up for the performance -- so Scrappy says the club owner paid the rapper a small sum to do a meet-and-greet instead of a show ... and Scrappy agreed. (TMZ)
Scrapp also said the promoter nixed his hotel reservation following the last-minute meet-and-greet.
When all was said and done, Scrappy says he went back to the hotel the promoter had arranged for him -- but the hotel informed him his reservation had been canceled and he was required to vacate. A source at the hotel says cops were called to assist in Scrappy's removal -- but the rapper says he left voluntarily. Scrappy tells TMZ, he has no plans to sue the promoter -- but vows never to work with him again. (TMZ)
Outside of concert woes, the "Love & Hip Hop ATL" star recently spoke to SOHH about taking better care of his health after an asthma attack earlier this year.
"Oh yeah, everything's better, man," Scrappy told SOHH when asked about his current health condition. "Like I told people, it was one of those times where I should have been had my asthma checked on. But I ain't ever go until my granny died and I went and drunk myself to a pulp. You dig? They say the liquor helps bring on asthma. ... I think it's something I had to take care of. I don't think it's about being more mature. What I've realized is don't no man like to go to the hospital unless there's something seriously wrong." (SOHH)
