West Coast producer Schoolboy Q has stepped up to discuss his publicized Twitter tirade with Shyne and why the ex-Bad Boy has no real reason to hate on Kendrick Lamar's new studio debut.

While he can respect Shyne's opinion, Schooboy pointed out Lamar's record sales do not lie.

"Kendrick sells a bunch of records and has corny n*ggas like Shyne hating on him," Schoolboy said in an interview. "I'ma keep it real: that n*gga is weak. I just keep it real, he's weak and nobody cares. He can't come back. Good for him, become Jewish, do what you're gonna do. Sh*t, I don't know, I don't care man. My n*gga is moving units -- he can feel like it's trash if he wants to, but my homie is moving units. What's his homie doing? What's he doing? I could care less, really. Honestly, I don't even want to talk about it. Shame on that n*gga." (2 Dope Boyz)

Last week, Shyne got blasted on by Schoolboy after trashing Lamar's solo effort.

"We all know @OriginalSHyne AIN'T EATIN!!!!! N*ggaH ain't Had a Hot verse since 01," Schoolboy tweeted October 23rd.

Kendrick has also come forward to downplay the ex-Bad Boy's comment.

"It's really no response [to him]," Lamar tells Hip-Hop Wired, when we caught up with him at the Samsung Galaxy Note II event in Los Angeles. "I'm not a sensitive guy, so that's his opinion. Can't stop what the world thinks, so yeah, that's him." With first week sale predictions flying above the 200K range , the Compton native is humbled by the support. "It feels great, lets me know that people still wanna' hear good music, real music. Music that has a connection, rather than just one artist, or one record on the radio." (Hip Hop Wired)

Despite the rap vet's opinion, Lamar's new album sold over 240,000 copies in its opening week.
