Top 5 Dead Or Alive: "When I See The South, A Lot Of The Swag Came From Him"

[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name their Top 5 rappers of all-time. To make things tricky, we've created a "Hall of Fame" of emcees (see right) who are universally respected and therefore may not be mentioned. After Rockie Fresh revealed his fave five spitters, West Coast veteran E-A-Ski drops his top five emcees.]
Ice Cube. I don't know why he's not in the Hall of Fame but I've got to put Ice Cube on the top of the list.
Too Short. I don't care what nobody says, you've got to put Too Short on there. He did some things that really changed the game. Even when I see the South, a lot of the swag came from him. That's just my opinion. I'm not saying as far as lyricist point of view, I mean as far as his impact. I look at things differently.
Tech N9ne. I think Tech N9ne. He's definitely put in some work. He's really built himself up and I'm really proud of that brother for being one of the biggest independents in the game.
Locksmith. My dude Locksmith. He's put in a lot of work and he's dope. He puts the work in.
Run-DMC. This game wouldn't even be doing what it's doing without having them. They showed the game you could sell records and make money. They taught the game how to sell records, how to take chances, crossing over from rap to rock. They did so much for hip-hop.
