Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame recently offered his take on Chris Brown's current love quarrel between ex-lovers Karrueche Tran and Rihanna, admitting he would want nothing to do with the R&B diva.
Claiming it is nothing personal, Flocka said he does not find himself attracted to RiRi and could not side with her if given a choice.
"I'm in a relationship," Waka said in an interview. "I've had a girl for almost two years. She's about that life. That small talk [about women] don't get her. ... I'm d*mn sure ain't going for Rihanna. H*ll nah. [Do I think Rihanna's bad?] H*ll nah. It ain't that I don't think she's bad, it's like, nah, brah. She's got history. You know what I mean? I don't know, I can't judge nobody. I don't know. You don't know what rocks to them, they're in their beds. So you don't know what's going on." ("The Breakfast Club")
Warner Bros. rapper XV hit up SOHH earlier this year with a similar stance toward RiRi's image.
"I started falling back because I felt like I never was into the pretty girl that got all the attention and then strived off the attention," XV told SOHH about losing his celebrity crush on Rihanna. "I like the pretty girl that kinda acts like she doesn't know she's pretty. I feel like Nicki Minaj is kinda like that for some reason. Even though she's like mad swagged out, there's something about her whole aura and the fact she has a hype man that everyone wonders if she's banging. Because of that, I feel like she's really untouchable. That makes men want her even more. It's more of a turn-on for a guy when a girl doesn't know how cute she is. I feel like Rihanna had that at one point. [Now,] every time I'm on a blog, I see a new Rihanna picture every week. I don't like when music becomes a character. The idea's like, 'You're supposed to be the bad girl,' but don't become the bad girl like it's a character." (SOHH)
Renowned television mogul Oprah Winfrey recently weighed in on the reported Chris Brown and Rihanna reunion.
"Extra" caught up with Oprah Winfrey on Friday in Houston and asked her about the recent reports saying Rihanna has rekindled her relationship with Chris Brown. Oprah wasn't sure if the reconciliation rumors were true, but she supports the "We Found Love" singer and her own life decisions. "I think that if she is prepared to deal with that and is prepared to help him help himself then so be it. I have no judgment about it. That's why I can sit there and have such a great time with her because I do all my interviews with no judgment whatsoever. If that's how you choose to lead your life, that's really okay." (Extra TV)
Last weekend, Chris released an open video hinting at his love for both Rihanna and Karrueche Tran.
"Y'all don't really get the real Chris Brown, so I like to just be honest. I'm just stressed out. It ain't about the music, I love my fans, it's just that when you share a history with somebody and you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it's kinda difficult ... Is there such thing as loving two people? I don't know if it's possible, but I feel like that." (Vimeo)
