Former Bad Boy Records rapper Shyne is letting the world know he is one of few not impressed by Aftermath protégé Kendrick Lamar's high-acclaimed good kid, m.A.A.d city studio debut.

Although Shyne co-signs Kendrick's talent, he spared no sympathy on dismantling the new LP.

"Yoooo! Kendrick Lamar is talented with a lot of potential but his album is traaaaash!," he tweeted Tuesday (October 23) night.
"The game Documentary even 50 get rich or die trying lived up to the hype and were classics. Good kid is trash!"
"When did honest become hating? I expected doggy style or the chronic. I got a product that was trash"
"I'm inspired by other people's greatness, it makes me work harder . I looked forward to hearing an instant classik from good kid. Trash!"
"All kendric lamar d#%^ riders & nut huggers! His album was trash! Good kid! Terrible album!" (Shyne's Twitter)

Fellow West Coast rapper Game called Lamar's album an instant classic.

"Its official like McDonald's bathroom tissue: @KendrickLamar's album joins the ranks of "The Chronic" "Doggystyle" & "The Documentary" #GKMC," he tweeted October 23rd.
"To witness CLASSIC west coast hip hop NOW click this http://itun.es/us/dbFUH- @kendricklamar got October & I got December #GKMC #JesusPiece" (Game's Twitter)

Even Game's rap rival 50 Cent co-signed Kendrick's new solo effort.

"It's official TDE @Kendricklamar album in stores today I got a copy.i like da Janet joint, swimming pools, this Sh!t hot.," Fif tweeted October 22nd. (50 Cent's Twitter)

The album is expected to sell over 200,000 copies in its opening week.

RED TIDE: Taylor Swift's Red now looks solidly north of 1 million in first-week sales, with a chance to possibly top Lady Gaga's 1.1 million-selling debut for Born This Way in May 2011. But that album, of course, included more than 400k in 99-cent sales from Amazon MP3. How about that, boys and girls?! Meanwhile, Interscope's Kendrick Lamar is also having a big first week, with his album now looking like it will break 200k. (10/23p) (Hits Daily Double)
